Um, this is a cultural phenomenon, and aren't we supposed to celebrate cultural diversity? Or only when it fits OUR agenda?
Malaysia is currently going nutso over an innocent nude video because it violates their cultural, legal and religious standards, and we're laughing at them for being so prudish. Prudism is the history of the world in one way or another; we nudists/naturists are the aberrant people who see things differently.
How dare we, as 21st Century broad-minded folks deny the cultural diversity which encompasses stoning to death for infidelity or imprisonment for simple nudity? These are cultural choices made by those who embrace them. They have no obligation to consider OUR ideas as valid, do they?
That said, it's a pretty sad world where these primitive and vicious 'cultures' still exist, in our opinion. We are entitled to that opinion as you are yours.
